How it works:

• Download utu Tax Free mobile app from the App Store or Google Play Store

• Verify your identity with your Passport to activate your utu Tax Free card

• Choose your Rewards Program under Refund Method

• After you shop at the store, fill in the utu Tax Free Card number on your tax refund form in the credit card field

• Complete the tax refund form verification process at the airport customs as you leave the country

• utu members will be notified via the utu Tax Free App once the tax refund has been approved

Terms & Conditions

1. As per the standard proposition, members earn USD125 to USD130 for every USD100 when members have their tax refunded to their utu Tax Free Card. From 1 December 2022 to 31 January 2023, all utu members will earn USD150 for every USD100 in tax refunds.

2. Promotion refund bonus is only applicable to airline miles, capped at 50% of your tax refund amount per transaction, regardless of utu membership tier.

3. Members will be eligible to convert their tax refund amount to miles only if:

   • utu Tax Free Card has been activated

   • Default Refund Method has been selected. This means your airline miles account is linked to utu account - the details entered in the utu Tax Free app must match the airline miles account details

   • Tax refund has been successfully credited to the utu Tax Free Card that is being stated on the tax refund form

4. The 50% refund bonus promotion is open to all new and existing utu members, valid from 1 December 2022 to 31 January 2023.

5. utu members will be notified via the utu Tax Free App once the tax refund has been approved.
